A Vision for the Future
In the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gilmore Group worked to develop an integrated concept for outdoor advertising and branding parts in line with their vision for 2030.
Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway, the route from Bahrain International Airport to downtown Bahrain, the Four Seasons, and the location of the historic Gates of Bahrain, required a next-generation signage system. Gilmore Group approached the challenge with a high-impact, out-of-home branding strategy. A Kit-of-parts was developed to include digital and static street furniture, interactive kiosks, and highway signage.
The components would not only be integrated with media and other sponsorship opportunities to offset costs and drive revenue, but would serve functional purposes such as wayfinding and delivering real-time civic information. In addition, the World Trade Center plaza displays could also function as channels for public art, building community and adding cultural value.
