Speaking to a group of 200+ attendees representing over 50 financial institutions, Arthur Gilmore, President & CEO of Gilmore Group spoke to the present-day need for the transformation of the current branch experience.
Taking a step back before diving into the strategies and solutions to this challenge, he recalls why branches exist in the first place.
Mr. Gilmore suggests that the true Future branches are not the leading-edge banks of today but are in fact new experience models that represent a personal, customized, customer-centric experience.
Mr. Gilmore believes that the design of the bank branch will evolve into a different experiential construct. One that is customer-controlled, futureproof, and dynamic—a complete departure from what we understand them to be today.
