Objective
We were asked to separate the Hawker Beechcraft brand into two, to ensure the future success of Beechcraft, while mitigating the effects of the failing Hawker brand.
Additionally, we were asked to design the interior of the Hawker 4000 Jet aircraft.
Solution
Building off the existing core brand elements, we developed a new brand architecture, positionings, and primary visual identity systems for both the Hawker and Beechcraft brand. Each markets’ components and design elements started from a blank page and went through an internal approval process before the final design was nominated.
We challenged ourselves to involve branded design elements and decorative details in the Hawker 4000’s interior components, namely the incorporation of the Hawker “beak” as a design motif.
Results
Gilmore Group successfully launched the new brand architecture and its applications at various touchpoints for the NBAA conference that successive year. For the interior design of the Hawker 4000, we successfully integrated many of the Hawker brand elements, creating a distinctly branded business jet.
